It's not "thick" sounding?

I can't imagine such heavy AWG stranded copper in lots of PVC and shield NOT sounding too thick and bottom-heavy, but maybe Pangea does something different? I'm especially worried the very top end would be rolled off.

On MY SET amps, I find smaller AWG power cords to work better, with less shielding.

BTW, how does AC-9 differe from AC-14 sound-wise?
