the shielding on the LC-1 is somethin else, like connecting a Black Hole to my subs.Interesting enough, when a hum developed when using anti-cables (sp cables) i was forced to go back to an IC connection. I have 2 subs but only 1 LC-1. in a mad rummage effort to find other IC's that do not let the hum in, my cheapest, nastiest pair of thick Monster Cable IC's did the trick too. Its easy to tell/hear which sub has the Monster & which has the LC-1 though :)
I probably won't buy any more Blue Jeans cables (maybe for my TV), but for a sub application the LC-1 does its thing well.
