I do not know your equipment. I would on most occassions use balanced over rca saying that the interconnects are the same line from the same manufacturer. It affects gain, noise and therefore you get better definition from balanced into a balanced system. In a balanced system, there is also an internal symetry. I would suggest you ask the dealer to let you listen to both in the same system and compare. Remember, that you need to wear in interconnects, that they need between 75 and 200 hours to break in. Also remember, that different brands work better with different systems. You may as well have all the problems with choosing interconnects. I use Transparent whose balanced interconnects are very good for my system.
