Cable prices aside, Monster likes to sic their attorneys on companies that have the audacity to use the word "monster" in their name, among them a vintage clothing store, and a business that teaches kids about skiing. They do this under the guise of protecting their trademark, but it actually appears to be little more than Monster's attempt to drag others through legal proceedings they can't afford, effectively spending them into submission. My signature line is a link to a page put up by an inmate, I believe Steve Eddy, detailing some of what Monster Cable has been up to. Browse through it if you'd like to get an idea about how that company really operates.
