I've faced the same problem as well. I was using the KS1130 from my CDP to my pre and from the pre amp to the power amp. Solved the problem when I auditioned the new stereovox balanced and speaker cables. Have sold my two pairs of KS1130 and purchased the Stereovox cables since.
