I have got to hand it to you - that's some great sleuthing!

The site you provided with the HDMI King Snake cable was particularly interesting. You're right about those boxes - but notice all the (got-to-be) counterfiet cables there too, like the Cardas and Nordost Valhallas?

A little further down the message board is the link to King Snake's website. Their only offering seems to be HDMI cables, but their site has categories for interconnects, power cables, speaker cables, etc.
