Home Cable Asylum

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

Silver wire should not be a problem with those speakers.

I am using silver wire with my ZIngalis and getting good results. Actually, mine are biwired with silver on the top (woofer/tweeter), and copper on the bottom (woofer). I think that silver IS the more sophisicated choice in wire so I would hesitate to move away from it.

Maybe you should keep the wire that you have and figure out a way to get your speakers closer to the amps. How long of a run are you using? I think anything longer than 2 meters is asking for trouble. If you can re-arrange things and get your cables shorter, you might solve some problems without spending any money. Biwiring is helpful too.

Just a thought.
