thanks jaiello....RAL seems to have the umbilical market cornered. i would think it would make a little difference since everythin seems to, but i would also suspect it to be a small difference. but, i never really thought power cords would and man o man i was wrong there. may the cardas that is already in place is good enough although my system and/or ear has never taken to cardas with mucho gusto in the past....
