I purchased a single run MIT-4 speaker cable without the connectors for the speaker end. These unterminated ends look like coaxial type cables with a solid copper inner core and braided shielding. In a bare wire speaker connection does one use just the solid inner core or both? The amp ends have the connectors intact but can't be taken apart without pulling them off so I could see how to use the speaker ends.
