I have a Panther IC and I chose for the 72V DBS upgrade pack. The reason why I did this is that the differences between the Colorado IC and the Panther IC are not so significant. The biggest improvement for the Colorado IC is the 72V DBS pack. The Colorado IC has now a three layer RFI shielding where the Panther IC has only one shield. The cold welded plugs are a further improvement. I spoke to an Audioquest distributor and he told me that a Panther with the 72V DBS comes very close to the Colorado IC. The differences between the Cheetah IC and the Niagara IC are bigger because the Niagara IC has larger teflon tubes. The big cat series are very good ICs and the 72V DBS upgrade pack is an interesting option to further improve the sonic performances.Johan
