Ear to Ear Black interconnect and power cables really transformed my system. I thought before (and it is not only my opinion) that cables are like tone controls - all previous cables I have owned have certain coloration and can make things better or worse, depending on the system.
I have open-baffle Concentus Lyra speakers. When used with Cary SLI-80 integrated amp, they lacked highs and finesse, sounded overblown and congested. However, they sound marvellous with the Unison Research Sinfonia amplifier. But with E2E cables in place, even after 50 hours on them, the sound is crispy, clear, very lively and dynamic. This is the "crispness" I missed before.
