Yes, it is CD player's O/P issue.

Hi.

It all depends on the O/P stage of the CD player. If it is of low impedance, like typically 600-ohm & with adequate O/P currents to offset the loss due to the IC capacitance & inductance, signal splitting would not cause a major problem. Yet I would not try to do it.

I always take the one-on-one format - one pair of IC to one receiving end only. This is to avoid too much O/P signal current loss due to interfacing capacitance & inductance.

For the sake of the sound, I got to live with pull in & pull out.
