In my experience, nothing comes close to the Aluminata for power amps. I have used Kimber Palladian, Shunyata Anaconda & Python, and FIM Gold, but when I heard the Aluminata on my power amp, it stayed there, and without any power conditioning.The Aluminata mixes fine with other brands. I'm using the other power cords mentioned above elsewhere in my system, and I only have one Aluminata - I can only _afford_ one Aluminata.
I haven't heard NBS cables so can't comment there, but the Aluminata made such an improvement with the power amp, I haven't even bothered to try it anywhere else. Joe at JPS agrees that the best place for the Aluminata is the power amp.
