Powerchord : JPS Aluminata AC : good cable and also to mix ?

Hi,
I read a few raving comments on JPS' Aluminata Reference AC cable and it seems that a proper review will appear in the April issue of Stereophile.
As there is no chance for me to audition this (expensive) cable, I'm wondering if some of you could help me lower the bar of hesitation by answering following questions and bearing in mind that it will power my Pass X150.5 amp :
a) how good is this cable ?
b) does is work fine if mixed with other brands (the cabling of my set-up is basically NBS Omega I and I have already a dedicated line for the Pass) or does the Aluminata have a "system-approach" (i.e, greatest perceived benefit if all cables from the same manuf.) ?
c) Why did ** you ** select JPS Aluminata (what benefits were you expecting and what has been the result so far ?) ? For the ones who know the NBS brand as well, what benefit will I have compared with the Aluminata compared to NBS Omega I cable ? I read that soundstage will increase and without detriment to other qualities you expect from an AC cable....

cheers and thank you
Mike
