John,
Thanks for the comments. I do not have a forward sound stage. The silver wire is not bare, but is teflon wrapped. Would it be better to get 23 gauge silver wire instead? It is a Transcendent Sound Pre-amp. Here are the specs:Specifications:
Harmonic Distortion: Less than .02% at 2 volts RMS out.
Signal to Noise Ratio: Greater than 93 dB.
Bandwidth: 1 dB down from 5 Hz to 300 kHz.
Gain: 12 dB.
Max Signal Out: 20 volts RMS.
Output Impedance: 200 ohms.
Input Impedance: 50 k Ohms.
Inputs: 3, Outputs: 1, all single-ended, RCA
Controls: Input Selector, Volume, Power
Tube Compliment: 3-12AU7I do have some 1506a left from the Twisted IC's. Would you recommend the 23 gauge silver teflon wrapped hookup wire or the 1506a with the teflon coating still on?
Thanks again,
Dan
