..............as many of U may know, there have been more than several attempts at upgrading the stock REL cable from well established cable manufactures for REL Subbass systems and so far, the SR RR REL SPEC cable has proven to be the ONLY cable to truly make a profound difference.
While the stock REL cable is adequate, stepping up to the Phase ll in the SR line brings about tremendous resolution gains to the soundstage and I do NOT say that lightly.
What the RR brings is a more profound soundstage refinement which consists of a subtantial improvement of the 3-D presentation BUT also MUCH better pitch differentiation and what seems like an extra 1/2 octave of low frequency extension....which is already excellent.
The results of implementing the RR cable is NOT subtle. Watching Die Hard on the HT system was a thrill ride I had long forgotten even though I have seen this film many times. It has the ability to absolve system issues that hold back the emotion of the signal and releases them in a frantic manner...I have NOT been glued to my seat watching a movie in a LONG time :-)

In the music system is it just as pronounced. 3-D precision has been greatly enhanced as has frequency extension. It seems as though the other cables are leashes placed on the music and implementing the RR cables unleashes that leash and with that, the system seems to be free of limitations although further break-in might warrant further refinements.
For those that employ REL subbass systems in their systems, I encourage U to give the RR a consideration.
It will NOT disappoint :-)
