had a MUCH improved/pleasurable listening experience with them after clipping off the standard (and IMO, crappy) spades they come with, removing the thin coating, finishing with Caig ProGold and running the nice copper cable, bare.This took an already fine speaker cable up a few notches. Others have posted hear that upgrading the standard spades with "better" ones also resulted in improved performance. I'm a bare-wire-speaker-end kind of guy though...
