I've used both and now I have the Aluminatas on my amps. I had put the powercords on 2 Pass Labs XA-160 amps. I let them cook for about 2 weeks and sat down to take a listen. I then accused my wife of turning up the sub volume. That's the difference. Money aside.. it almost sounds like the bass has more impact.Regards,
