Re: Jon Risch Twisted Pair (89207?)

I made several pairs just on Jon's recommendation. I have a box full of cables that I have collected over the years starting with, arguably, the first "high end" cable, Monster's Interlink Reference. I have MIT's with little boxes, Vampire, Esoteric, Distech, etc. along with a pair of Belden 89259's w/Eichmann Bullets. Well, I like the 89259's so much, I made some 89207's. I installed them in my system (Marsh 2000T pre, Counterpoint SA220 power, Von Schweikert VR4's, Monster M1's speaker cables, Art DI/O Dac modified, and Pioneer Universal with custom 75ohm cable). At first, they sounded a little hot and thin. Not as full bodied as the 89259's. But after listening to them for a couple of months, I can't imagine switching to anything else. The soundstage presentation is a little more forward than the 89259's, but who is to say which is right?
As compared to my much higher priced cables, it's simple. These are the equal to or better.
They have Eichmann's and a few have WBT clones. Wonder sound for my system. Very stiff, so had to make them a little longer than usual.

Definatly better than any $50 Monster and at least the equal to the $200+ cables I have in the box.
