I'd have to say those cables are not very good. Just how in the heck do cats "break" a cable? Either you have some VERY large cats who play behind your equipment, or those cables are flimsy pieces of junk. I daresay, I could pull all my ICs out of my system, run them over with my car's tires, put them back in the system and they'd work just fine. If your cats are able to break a cable, there is something terribly wrong with the basic construction of that cable..."The Mapleshade ICs are not for everyone though. They break very easily and require a good break in and a lot of TLC to get good results. My cats have broken mine 3 times. "
