I haven't yet noticed any differences between the two (with the standard plugs) on my rebuilt ST70. Bought the Flav 4 used only a week ago though, so more good things from it may be awaiting. As it stands I have noted improvements with the Flavors over a Signal PC and ZU Bok in that position.
