My Kimber KCTG was bright in my system when I had it. I now have the new Speltz silver w/silver Eichmanns. Much much much smoother. I have also done other tweaks like power cords and isolation since that have affected the overall sound. I would like to try the Kimber again. I used to think all silver was brightnow I don't. ET
