Hi FJR123,There are actually quite a few coaxial cable designs out there used as ICs. It wouldn't surprise me to find similarities between the construction of those lower-priced coaxial ICs and video coaxial cable. Just remember that there most 75ohm coaxial cables are not truly 75-ohms despite some manufacturers' claims. 75-ohms digital coaxial or video cable usually measures in at about 55ohms!
I would think that the smaller conductor size and inherently shielded design (shield {ground} foil) will provide excellent sonic benefits in protecting against RFI...Does anyone have thoughts on this?
For a 600FT spool maybe you could send 3ft my way to play around with.
