I put together a set of these IC's with Belden 89207 and "cheap" plugs, and they sounded better than the 50$ Monster ICs they replaced. I imagine that with decent plugs - i.e. Eichmann Bullets - they would be even better.Beware, though: this wire is STIFF and a bit of a bear to work with. If you don't use the shield, it's not so bad, but get the length right because they will not bend.
The top end is smooth, the mids are pleasant without being laid back, and the bass is near faultless. From here, IMHO, the only way up is pure silver wire with Eichmann silver bullets.
