Nordost Vahalla Tonearm Wire Cable

A most interesting and useful review of Nordost by AnalogJ. I have recently replaced all my NBS cabling with Valhalla. The speaker cable came first and was superb right away, but the interconnects have been more of a mixed bag. AnalogJ does say that his whole experience has been with phono cable not fully broken in. Before my interconnects were delivered, Sound by Singer insisted on at least a week on the break-in machine that Nordost supplies its dealers. That did make a big difference; the sound is really impressive in many ways. But still.... So this morning I talked to The Cable Company and next week will be listening to the Stereovox interconnects that Brian Damkroger likes so much. They will stretch from the dCS Elgar DAC to the CJ Act 2 preamp, and from the preamp to the VAC Renaissance Signature 70/70 power amp, or, alternatively, the solid-state CJ Premier 350. The tube stuff is fairly forgiving, but my new WattPuppy 8s, now finally broken in, are NOT.
