I just got this cable the other day so it may be premature to judge, but so far its sounds like it could be the best IC I've heard. I found the sonics similar to good silver cables in that they are smooth and have a great ethereal soundstage, where the music just seems to float in air. But, midrange is so clean, open and detailed and brings out lots of texture and nuances to the music. The bass is clear and deep and has a punch, but not boomy or out of balance with the rest of frequencies. I canot detect any sonic signature to this cable; it seems to have no tonal color like many other cables do. There is a purity and immediacy to the sound that its sort of like having no cable at all, like the signal is passing in air. And, I do find the staging to be slightly laidback, not forward at all. Might work for your needs.
