Nope.I usually buy them if they offer a clear step up from the competition or the previous cables being used AND offer a step closer to musical realism/rhythemic preservation.
Of course one cannot discount system synergy and there have been many cables/PC's that have offered a different sonic presentation but left the system(s) lethargic and in that case....no go.
