My elderly Vandersteen 2Cs sound definitively better with a single run of Mapleshade cables and the Mapleshade ribbon jumpers than they did with a double run of much thicker, and admittedly long-in-the-teeth Audioquest cables. I've thought I should try and second run of the Mapleshade speaker wire at some point, as the speakers are designed for bi-wiring, but who knows if I'll ever get to where I'm ready to spend the money for that (although they're presumably returnable under the usual 30-day trial period).
