Audience Power Chord vs PS Audio Statement

I am trying to select a decent cord for my tubed preamp. Under consideration is the Audience Power Chord and the PS Audio xstream Statement.

Both cords though give me concerns. On this forum, some have apparently experienced a "thinness" in the top end with the Statement cords (for at least a couple of users). It seems to me that this would especially be a concern with tubed gear as I would be intending its use. I believe a desirable way to go for tubed equipment would be silver plated copper cords. (I'd like to go this way - but cost becomes a little prohibitive).

The Power Chord utilizes no shielding with its design and relies on its low impedance design to avoid RFI anomalies. This is a very different approach than most cords it seems.

I intend to shop over Audiogon to save some cash, so the ability to audition is not possible. I'm trying to make the best decision based on reviews and other user recommendation.

Can anyone give me their ideas on my concerns for the intended use on a tubed preamp? Should I really purse the silver route, or is the Power Chord and/or Statement cords going to give me the performance level needed?

Thanks

Mike
