Hey TRUFI,Due to your effusiveness on these boards I took the plunge for (1st) a 10 meter pair of Paragon Enhanced XLRs to replace the QFils between my amp and pre (they're still serving in that capacity)and then, about a year later, I sprang for enough cables and jumpers to replace the Valhalla on my Duos. Interestingly enough, the only area of comparison where they fell short of the Valhallas was in soundstage depth and I noted this over in a Forum at AGon. Consequently, the NDost went back in but I kept the PNotes anyway. For the money they were (are) giantkillers.
Incidentally, I also have had the good fortune to try Silversmith Palladiums. Jeff Smith sent me a 1 meter pair of XLRs to run between DAC and Pre. They stood in for Indras here and were absolutely as good with just a tad more sparkle than the Indra and, to me, are on equal footing with them.
