Silver w/ cotton dielectric

I'd be interested to hear your follow up on this, and a comparison to the copper AC. I'm also interested in the specs on the silver version - how is the silver wire implemented (solid/stranded), what is the guage, silver purity, connector, cost etc. I guess the Speltz silver AC's are somewhat new for them since it is not on their website.

For the past year, AudioConsulting 24 AWG silver wire covered by a very thin coat of polysterimide and a non-bleached cotton sheath with a loose twist and terminated by Eichman Silver Bullets as been the best interconnect I've tried to date. I'm also using the same Audio Consulting wire in cotton as non-teminated speaker cables. I'm very happy with the results in both cases. Break in time is short (20 hours or so), very dynamic with low level detail, smooth treble frequencies, transparent and to my ears pretty neutral in character.

I am convinced that the combination of 4N silver or Continuously Cast Oxygen Free Copper, and air or near air dielectric, are characteristics of very good cables.

I would be interested in experimenting with a flat silver design such as Mapleshade, Goertz MI2-AG speaker cables, or others I've seen at the Vacuum State website.

Please share your results. Thanks.

Ken
