Can anyone explain why the outer sheath makes any difference to the performance of a coaxial cable???Assuming there was such a thing, If we had two cables one with a PVC outer sheath, the other with a Teflon outer sheath, why would they (or would they) perform differently?
I understand the effect of a better insulator between the core and shield of a coaxial cable, due to it's dielectric propoerties, but cannot fathom how the outer sheath makes a difference? Just curious.

I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time". So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance.
