Re: Would You Spend $1k To Have 2 Dedicated Lines Installed?

Red ... I did not read all responses so may been couvered.
Any electrical supply store can show you how to run the wire properly.
Don't rely on Home Depot type. Do all the work yourself or anyone you know capable of following simple instructions. It's not brain surgery. An electrician, unless he is a hi-fi nut will just slap in a line meeting code. You want better than that with polished ends, big bends, keeping it away from other lines of any kind, putting in #10 if you want, steel boxes instead of plastic, offset plastic wire holders (not steel staples), etc. They make some really terrific plastic conduit, too. Do everything except mess with main panel voltage. Even connecting to new circuit breakers is not life threatening. All the wires are connected to it and you just push it in. Leave it out or off until checked.
Ask the same supply house how to go about having someone check it over for you or inspected for code. Usually wiring does not need not be installed by a licensed electrician. Zene
