I did not buy cables from Paul, but when I bought a TAD-150 preamp from him two years ago I asked him some questions about some of the budget cables, like BlueJeans and Acoustic Research. He was right on the ball on how they would sound and advised me to get better cables (not from him).My gut feeling is that his cables are "sweetspot" priced - great for the money, better than most budget cables, but perhaps shy of high-end cables.
His "Iron Lung Jellyfish" power cord managed to fare pretty decently in a power cord shootout in AudioCircle.com.
