Balanced Audio Note AN-VX Interconnect?

i am thinking to get Audio Note AN-VX interconnect for its smooth and clarity. however i prefer balanced version since both my cd player and amplifier have balanced output/input. i found out there are only two wires in the AN-VX cable enclosure. my local Audio Note dealer said it can be done by using the shelding as ground wire and two silver wires as positive and phase inverted position. however they are not very sure. i also have my doubt because if it's done in this way, the return path would be copper and could potentially mass things up. anyone has any idea about this? thanks.
