The specs look good on the 89207. 20 gauge, low capacitance, teflon, very low loss.
Don't parallel the two center conductors, use them individually as pos and neg. The only reason to use the braided shield would be for a telescoping interconnect to cut down RFI. In that case you would connect the shield to the neg at one end of the cable only and use that end at the source component. Can't imagine this would be necessary when you're only dealing with frequencies below 200 hz or so. Bottom line is that you already have the cable so why not just give it a shot.
