Re: bi-wiring

When I used to own tri-wired Alons, I would sometimes run a bi-wire set with spades at the amp end to MF/HF and a separate single run with bananas at the amp end to LF. If bananas work, that is a good way to do your second single run. Cardas bananas come with a plastic clamp holding two together at standard spacing, but the clamp can be removed for different spacing. If bananas do not work, your choices are to change the speaker cable posts to the amp, get regular bi-wire cables joined at the amp end, or do your best to attach two spades to each post - it can be done if you are careful.
