Which receptacles can handle two separate lines by removing a jumper? FIM, Oyaide, Furutech are at the top of my list -- anyone know whether any of these fit the bill? I've looked at specs online but don't see exact mention of this feature in the descriptions I've found. If you are going to feed a duplex receptacle with 2 dedicated circuits, thus breaking the tie link between the two receptacles, as per NEC you must feed the two branch circuits with a 2 pole breaker. For safety both circuits must open at the same time from a single handle action.
As you may well know all audio equipment should be fed from the same line, buss, from the electrical panel when connected together by ics. L1 or L2 but not using both. If using a 2 pole breaker each dedicated 120V circuit will be fed from each line. One from L1, the other from L2.

- Thanks for the info, Alan. Sounds like trying to get two lines into one duplex isn't a great option [nt] - Zero 09:04:37 12/23/06 (1)
