I'm looking for the best cable to wire the playback heads of my reel to reel tape deck to female rca's at the back of the machine. They must be well shielded as they will pass 2 motors closely. They will also need to be low capacitance to retain high frequencies. The signal will be very low ( less than .6mV ). I have it currently wired with some Belden coax but I'm sure I can do allot better. I was thinking that a good phono cable might work well but at this point, I'm just guessing. Flexible cable would be a real plus too since I have to do some pretty tight routing. Any suggestions?
