Well, my co-workers and I are trying the Q Audio "Tao" now. The correct pronunciation is "dow," as in Dow Jones, Touchdown, or dowry. The Tao is a skinny interconnect. One co-worker remarked that, tethered by the Tao, our components "look like they're being tied together with string."
Another nice ergonomic feature is the RCA plug. It is NOT a locking type, so no more fiddling behind the rack. It is thin enough that it fits into tight spaces, including those countersunk RCA jacks on the back of our TV.
We've really only used the Tao with video equipment, so I can't tell you what it sounds like. But so far, it seems "fine." That is, it has no gross distortions or colorations. This honesty is what WE are looking for, but may not be what audiophiles are after.
On my blog below, I haven't talked much about interconnects, digital cables, and speaker cables (not directly, anyway. I have discussed bi-wiring, though). As early as next week, I'll post some cable pics and comments. Keep checking back; I promise to put up something about the Tao.
