The only correct side where you put all the strands of one wire is to the right of the screw (from where you insert the screwdriver), so that the screwing action actually pulls to some degree the wire inside. Anything on the left side of the screw would cause the wire to be pushed out, when you turn the screw in the clockwise direction...
I forgot to mention this earlier and yet, of course, this is a very important point when assemblying the plug.
