HowdyI use both, some components just sound better on one vs. the other. I used the SLVR on my transport, my HT processor, my preamp and my sub. I had the Taipan's on my amps and my DAC. (I've recently upgraded some cords so things are a little different.)
On my amps the Taipan was faster and on my transport the SLVR had a more solid bass. I honestly don't remember the differences for the other choices, it's been years.
