A friend just gave me a pair of cables made from Canare DA-206 (110-ohm shielded twisted 20awg pair) with Neutrik XLR connectors.I've already got some very nice AES/EBU cables that I'm perfectly happy with (Apogee WydeEye), so I was thinking of using these new cables for analog audio.
Anyone have any experience with Canare DA-206 as an analog interconnect? Care to share your opinions/observations? Any empirical (or theoretical) expectations?
Anyone ever use 110-ohm AES/EBU cable for microphones?
Thanks.
