Superflat to Red Dawn - Significant upgrade?

As my stereo bits regularly move around the living room (in a non-magical way!) I find myself once again in a position where a change of speaker cable may be in order.

Currently I have a 7m set of Nordost Superflat biwire which I have been very happy with, however an imminent waltz will position my speakers closer to my amps whereby only 3.5m per side will be required.

I still have Living Voice (Hitachi) and QED xt400 cables of this length which I could use, however I prefer the Nordost to either of these. Another possibility would be to cut the Superflat in half and double it up - though lessening its resale value.

But as the newer Nordost cables have become established (Heimdall, Baldur et al) the "older" wires are regularly available second hand at good prices.

I am therefore tempted by Red Dawn revII which I assume will give me more of the same (!)

I would be interested in hearing comments from inmates who have progressed through the Nordost line-up; in particular the difference between Superflat and Red Dawn (speaker cable only)

Thanks in advance,
Andy
