The design criteria for a 75 Ohm video cable and a 75 Ohm SP/DIF digital cable is essentially the same (so, "it will work"), but not all video cables sound good/great when used as a digital cable. The cable in question will need to be tested by your ears for it's sonic merit (trust your ears). An email sent to Nordost with your question would likely be kindly answered with, "...it will work, but our cable products designed for digital use will sound better..." (which would likely be the truth), but there would be no reason not to use the particular video cable for digital use if it sounds satisfactory to your ear. At least it's design and specs seem suitable for digital applications. However, if you plan to buy one for your needs, I would instead select another cable that's specifically designed for use as an SP/DIF digital cable.
