If your still usign the el-cheapo outlets that were installed in your home/dwelling during it's construction to power your system thru, your handicapped right there.

Take the money, or a portion of it, and buy an outlet(s) such as a cryo'd Oyaide, Furutech, Wattgate or Pass & Seymour. The musical rewards will be well worth it and this will also enable U to REALLY hear how upgraded power cords sound :-)

The image is a Furutech FP-15 (cu) 15A AC receptacle and I 've also included a link with more info.
