Re: sonic character of copper Bullet plugs vs other high-end RCA connectors?

I have used the copper and silver bullets in the past, but no longer use them. I use silver wire exclusivley for my ICs yet IMHO, the bullets sound a bit flat/dead. I now use the Oyaide silvers, which I beleive allow more "presence" and a clearer soundstage to come through. The theory/concept behind the bullets do indeed make sense (and I never needed the hair dryer), but for some reason, it just didn't seem to all come together for me. I recently sold my silver bullets to another inmate, and I certainly hope his experience is different from mine. Another thought for you - if you want to take the "anti-connector" concept all the way, you should consider using the silver bullets with silver wire, or copper bullets with copper wire rather than mixing up the metals. JMO.
