It's been a while since I last tried the Linn Classik. Bu anyway, I strongly recommend keeping the interconnects and speakers from the same brand.A combination of Kimber Timbre-0147 and 4TC is an excellent budget beginning. I also liked Nordost Blue Heaven, which never sounds fat. And that is exactly what we hard core hi-fi rockers need. Wireworld's Atlantis series (the 5 is now being discounted) is a nice match.
With my Linn pieces, I didn't quite like my XLO Ultra 1/6; AQ Quartz/Indigo; Monster IL-400/Original; MIT Terminator 2.
Hint: the NHT 3.3, when properly set up in a large enough room, kicks ass.
