Today I came home from Home Despot with some indoor building wire. 12/2 NM-B. I cut open the outer insulation jacket to extract the individual leads within. I used twisted pair configuration for this, my first trial.I can't tell what the jacket material is over the copper. It does not look like pvc. Likely it is some kind of poly_. The wire is very stiff and does not handle easily. This will put off some folks, I'm sure.
Up to this point I have refrained from making statements to the effect that I've heard improvements and such.....and I'm not quite going to make one here. I will say this one interests me.
