If yes, give it a shot. I feel electrical digital cables with their difference impedence characteristics just move the jitter around (have a different jittern spectrum). Whereas with TOSLink, the quality increases/jitter reduces as you pay more for the 'glass' fibres and better terminations. Give the Sound Profressionals glass toslink a try for $50.
